This is less of a blog entry and more of a thank-you note. Last night we were treated to a wonderful dinner by eleven of our friends. It reminded me that in the rush to start a new adventure, we must remember the foundation that our past provides.
It was a great evening. One of those stellar nights where there is no gap in the conversation and time seems to evaporate.
Thanks to Marsh for organizing it. and Thanks Gary for inviting Chris and Claire. Thanks to Tennile & Peter, Michelle & Darren, Wendy & John, Michelle & Gary, Claire & Chris and Marshall for making it a fabulous night.
If I was on the ball, I would have had a camera with me and then posted a nice goup shot here. But I'm not and I didn't and there isn't. The lesson to be learned is to remember the value of friends. And to take their picture.

Darren and I find ourselves truly blessed in life to have made such wonderful friends as Martin and Joanne along the way. Our memories of the past and for what the future might hold with friends like you two will always be held very dear to our hearts! You will be missed while away on your new adventure, but what an adventure it will be. Fiona and Ainsley will miss you tons!
i know its been a few months since this dinner, but it was a fun evening filled with laughs, and i still smile when i think about it. gary wants to know if you have a home depot nearby.(lol)
